Luman Wing is a man of faith and also a man of science, a rare combination. He has an insatiable curiosity, which led him into microbiology studies in college. Due to his quest for knowledge he seeks to answer tough “Why“ questions. He was ordained in 1998 and has served as an associate pastor at several churches. 

Pastor Lu graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Cell Biology (1980) and completed his PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland (1992). In 2022, Pastor Lu also earned a Masters degree in Theological Ethics at the University of Aberdeen.

Pastor Lu is currently an independent toxicology consultant in the bio-pharmaceutical industry in San Diego where he has lived for over 40 years. He effectively brings his scientific background into his Bible teaching. He is a published author and a Chaplain for first responders.
